A tragic accident in Gazipur’s Konabari area has left three people dead, including a woman, after a bus collided with an auto-rickshaw. Two others sustained injuries in the crash.
The accident occurred around 7:45 am when a Takwa Paribahan bus, traveling from Gazipur Chowrasta, crashed into an auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction near Konabari.
According to police and local sources, five passengers in the auto-rickshaw suffered severe injuries. Three of them, including a woman, succumbed to their wounds while being transported to the hospital. Their identities have not yet been confirmed.
Gazipur Metropolitan Police Traffic DC Ashraful Islam stated, "The accident resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including a woman. Preliminary reports suggest they may have been from the same family."
