The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has officially extended the deadline for corporate income tax return submissions by one month.
According to a notification issued by the tax authority on Sunday, the new deadline for filing is now April 15.
The extension applies specifically to the 2025-26 tax year.
The decision was reached following formal appeals from various business sectors, which cited the need for additional time to finalize their mandatory filing processes.
The previous deadline for corporate tax submissions was set to expire today (March 15).
By granting this grace period, the NBR aims to facilitate smoother compliance for companies navigating their annual tax obligations.
