Message given by James on death of Shafin Ahmed

Shafin Ahmed, Singer and band star of many popular songs including 'Chand Tara Surjo', 'Jala Jala', 'Phiriye Dao', 'Phire Ele Na', 'Aaj Jonmodin Tomar' passed away due to heart attack. He breathed his last at a hospital in Virginia, USA, at 6:50 am. on Thursday (July 25) Bangladeshi time. 'Nagar Baul' famous band star James gave a status on his verified Facebook page expressing grief over Shafin Ahmed's death.

Using a verse from Shafin Ahmed's song, he wrote, 'Chand Tara Surjo Nao Tumi, Nao Pahari Jhorna / Jodi Boli Phul Tobuo Hobe Bhul, Tomar Tulona Hoyna.'

Paying tribute, James also wrote, 'Humble respect to Miles Band star Shafin Ahmed of Bangladesh. Innalillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun. Deep condolences to the bereaved audience. Let us all pray for his soul to rest in peace.'

Incidentally, in 1979, one of the most popular bands in Bangladesh, 'Miles', was formed. After some time, Shafin and Hamin joined it. After that, they presented many popular songs of Bangladesh.
