Saudi Arabia Bans 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', 'Singham Again'
Saudi Arabia has announced a ban on the much-anticipated films Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
On Thursday (October 31), the administration of Saudi Arabia informed that 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' and 'Singham Again' will not be released in Saudi Arabia.
It is known that the two films have been seen by the review committee of that country.
Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty and featuring a star-studded cast that includes Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan has been banned due to its portrayal of religious conflict.
Meanwhile, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, a horror-comedy directed by Anees Bazmee and whose cast includes Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri has been barred for containing homosexual references. Both films were poised to attract large audiences during the festive season, but strict censorship regulations in Saudi Arabia have deemed their content inappropriate.
Not only these two films, the southern film 'Amaran' has also been banned.
'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' and 'Singham Again' were released on Friday (November 1). Both films created records in advance bookings. Tickets are being sold at high prices.
