President Donald Trump has expressed sharp frustration with European NATO members for failing to support the United States and Israel in the ongoing four-week conflict against Iran.

Speaking at an investment forum in Miami, Florida, on Friday, the President suggested that American commitment to the alliance may no longer be guaranteed.

During his address, President Trump noted that Washington did not consult European allies prior to the decision to strike Iran on February 28. He highlighted that many NATO members have since voiced opposition to the military action.

He continued, "If they aren't going to stand by us, why should we stand by them? They weren't there for us."
