The tribunal additionally decreed the forfeiture of half of the immovable assets of all four convicts.
It instructed that the revenue generated from the disposal of the seized properties be disbursed as indemnity to the households of those slain and to those wounded during the 2024 Mass Uprising via the July Foundation or an alternative statutory authority.
On November 2 last year, ICT-2 filed three specific indictments against the four accused, who were prosecuted in absentia as they remain at large.
Previously, on October 6 last year, the tribunal accepted the formal charges and dispatched arrest warrants for the absconding accused.
A total of 19 prosecution witnesses, including the investigating officer, provided testimony in the trial.
