Bangladesh Women's U-17 Football Team shared points with Jordan Women's U-17 Football Team as their first Group H match of the ongoing AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup 2026 Qualification tied at 1-1 at the Aqaba Stadium in Aqaba, Jordan on Monday night.
Bangladesh took the early lead as Sauravi Akanda Prity netted the ball in the 3rd minute of the first half, but Jordan got a relief while Mira Jarar struck to restore parity in the 89th minute.
Bangladesh, who have been placed in the three-team Group H of the qualification round, will next play against Chinese Taipei on October 17 at the same venue.
However, the group toppers will get the chance to directly enter the main stage of the Asian Cup 2026, which will be held from April 30 to May 17 in 2026 in China.
Bangladesh earlier qualified twice in the main stage of this age-level continental football meet for girls -- 2017 and 2019.
