Cristiano Ronaldo reached another personal milestone as Al Nassr etched their name into the history books with a 2-0 victory over Al Akhdoud on Saturday night (April 11). The win marks a club-record 14th consecutive victory for the Riyadh-based side.

Alongside Ronaldo, his Portuguese teammate João Félix found the back of the net to secure the three points in a crucial Saudi Pro League encounter.

Ronaldo Edges Closer to 1,000 Goals
The match served as another chapter in Ronaldo’s legendary career. With his strike against Al Akhdoud, the Portuguese icon has now reached 968 career goals.

While chasing personal glory, Ronaldo is also firmly in the race for the Golden Boot. He currently sits third in the league's scoring charts with 24 goals, trailing Julian Quiñones (26) and Ivan Toney (27).

To secure a third consecutive Golden Boot, Ronaldo will need a prolific run in the final stretch of the season.

The Race for the Title
The victory solidifies Al Nassr’s position at the top of the table. With only six matches remaining in the season, the standings are as follows:

Position	Team	Points
1	Al Nassr	70
2	Al Hilal	65
3	Al Ahli	—

Despite the 5-point cushion, Al Nassr faces a grueling path to the trophy.

After their next fixture against Al Ettifaq, they must navigate a "gauntlet" of top-tier opponents, including Al Ahli (3rd), Al Qadisiyah (4th), and a potential title-decider against Al Hilal (2nd).

A Long-Awaited League Trophy?
Since joining the Saudi Pro League in 2023, the league title has eluded Ronaldo.

However, with the team currently in record-breaking form and boasting a 14-game winning streak, the veteran's leadership and experience have put Al Nassr in their strongest position yet to claim the championship.
