On Thursday night (August 26), Real defeated Sociedad 4-1 at the Santiago Bernabéu, fueled by a hat-trick from French star Kylian Mbappé and another goal from Brazilian poster boy Vinícius Júnior.

Ochieng’s weak shot inside the box deflected off a home defender's foot and traveled across to the other side; Croatian midfielder Sučić rushed in completely unchecked and effortlessly beat Courtois with a diagonal shot.

After the break, Real ramped up their attacks and regained the lead in the 60th minute. Following an exchange of passes with Bellingham, Mbappé carved out space and beat the goalkeeper with a diagonal shot.

Eight minutes later, a goal by Vinícius put Real firmly on course for victory, though the primary credit belonged to Bellingham, alongside defensive errors from Sociedad. After the visitors lost possession in their own half, Bellingham received a teammate's pass near the edge of the box, slipped between two defenders, and shot.

Though blocked by an opponent's foot, the English star did not stop; he regained control of the ball, passed it across the face of goal from the byline, and Vinícius tapped it easily into the net.

The French star completed his hat-trick in the 80th minute. Vinícius threaded a through ball nutmegging an opponent, and Mbappé beat the goalkeeper with a shot from just outside the six-yard box, sealing a 4-1 victory for Real Madrid.

With this win, Real Madrid top the La Liga standings with 6 points from two consecutive victories, followed by Sevilla and Real Betis in the next two spots with identical points.
