The Bangladesh Meteorological Department forecasts light to moderate showers or thundershowers with temporary gusty winds across many locations in the Dhaka, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions, alongside a few places in the Rangpur and Sylhet divisions, according to a morning bulletin commencing at 9 am.

Isolated locations may experience moderately heavy to heavy downpours. Existing mild heatwaves sweeping over Sylhet division, Gopalganj, Narayanganj, Bogura, Netrokona, Cumilla, Chandpur, Lakshmipur, Feni, Chattogram, Khulna, Satkhira, and Barishal are expected to abate. Daytime temperatures may drop slightly, while nighttime lows remain nearly steady nationwide.

Saturday's peak temperature reached 37 degrees Celsius in Ramgati and Netrokona, whereas Sunday's minimum dropped to 21.4 degrees Celsius in Narayanganj, which also recorded a high of 82 mm of rainfall over the preceding 24 hours ending at 6 am.

In Dhaka, sunset occurs at 5:57 pm on Sunday and sunrise at 5:47 am on Monday.
