Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are likely at a few locations across Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, and at one or two spots over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions within 24 hours commencing 9 am on Monday, according to a morning bulletin from the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

The Met office further anticipates moderately heavy downpours at isolated regional points, marginal daytime temperature increases, and nearly static night temperatures nationwide.

Sunday's peak temperature reached 35 degrees Celsius in Chattogram, while today's lowest hit 22.5 degrees Celsius in Narayanganj.

Cumulative precipitation over the 24 hours leading to 6 am on Monday peaked at 58 mm in Ishurdi.

In Dhaka, sunset is scheduled for 5:56 pm on Monday and sunrise for 5:47 am on Tuesday.
