The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted rainfall across various regions of the nation over the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am on Saturday.

According to a weather bulletin released this morning, "Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka,Khulna divisions and at one or two places over Barishal, Mymensingh, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions."

The forecast added that moderately heavy rainfall could also occur at isolated locations across the country. Daytime and nighttime temperatures are expected to register a slight increase nationwide.

On Friday, the country's maximum temperature reached 35.4 degrees Celsius in Srimangal, whereas the lowest temperature recorded today was 22.6 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.

Over the 24-hour period ending at 6 am on this day, Sreemangal logged the highest rainfall in the country at 36 millimetres. In Dhaka, sunset occurs at 5:51 pm on Saturday, with sunrise scheduled for 5:49 am on Sunday.
