India has reaffirmed its commitment to a democratic, stable, peaceful, progressive, and inclusive Bangladesh, stating that its support will remain steadfast in the future.
Indian High Commissioner to Dhaka, Pranay Kumar Verma, shared this message on behalf of his country.
The High Commissioner delivered these remarks during an Iftar party organized by the Indian High Commission at a hotel in the capital on Saturday (March 7). The event was attended by various government ministers and prominent citizens.
During his speech, Pranay Verma highlighted the deep friendship between India and Bangladesh and the long-standing ties between the people of the two nations.
He described the Iftar gathering as a reflection of the strong bond and the close social and familial relationships shared by the two neighboring countries.
"Our two countries share a rich history and deep cultural ties," said the High Commissioner. "The indelible memories of our joint sacrifices during the Liberation War of Bangladesh continue to unite our people today."
