5 Bangladeshi Students Selected to Represent Nation at International Climate Olympiad in Russia

Five Bangladeshi students have been chosen to represent Bangladesh at the upcoming International Olympiad on Climate Change and Environmental Issues (IOCE) 2026, following a rigorous nationwide selection process that drew participation from over 4,000 candidates.

The final national squad will travel to Sirius, Russia, to compete against talented young minds from around the globe on an international stage.

The Russian House in Dhaka announced the selection outcome, highlighting the exceptional enthusiasm and competitive spirit displayed by students across the country throughout the preliminary selection phases.

Organizers have also extended an invitation to media outlets interested in profiling the delegation, noting that interviews and interactions with the members of Team Bangladesh can be coordinated upon request.
