Dr. Zubaida Rahman, wife of the Prime Minister and vice-president of the Ziaur Rahman Foundation (ZRF), has provided medical and nutritional relief to seven-month-old infant Hussain from Sriphaltala village under Bagali Union in Khulna's Koyra upazila.

Originating from a vulnerable household where an ailing mother cannot breastfeed, an unwell father (Harun) is incapacitated and an elderly grandmother relies on begging as the sole income source, the baby faced severe malnourishment, dermatological issues, and oral candidiasis after being fed salt-water dilution due to milk poverty.

Social media visibility flagged the crisis to Dr. Zubaida Rahman, who directed ZRF programme director Prof. Dr. Shah Mohammad Amanullah to coordinate intervention.

Under the supervisory care of foundation member Dr. M. R. Hasan, Hussain and his relatives entered Koyra Upazila Health Complex, where the infant undergoes medical care and nutritional milk provision alongside household healthcare services.

Tearfully stating, "I run my family by begging. I cannot afford to buy milk for the baby. I want to save my grandson," the grandmother acknowledged Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Dr. Zubaida Rahman for aiding the distressed family.
