US Forces Intercept 45 Vessels Under Naval Blockade: CENTCOM

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that 45 vessels have been turned back as part of the ongoing naval blockade imposed on Iranian ports.

According to military officials, these ships were intercepted while attempting to breach the blockade.

In a post shared on the social media platform X, CENTCOM—which is overseeing military operations involving Iran—stated that U.S. forces are maintaining continuous patrols in international waters.

The command confirmed that 45 commercial vessels were either diverted or ordered to return to their ports of origin to ensure strict compliance with blockade regulations.

The United States officially imposed the naval blockade on Iranian ports on April 13, amid the current conflict.
