Rain is expected to play spoilsport in Antigua

Bangladesh will face India in their second match of the Super Eight today ( June 22) in the T20 World Cup.

The match will start at 8:30 pm at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

The Tigers want to keep the dream of the semi-finals alive by winning this match. On the other hand, Team India is not thinking anything without winning against Bangladesh to stay ahead of the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, in the Super Eight match between Australia and Bangladesh, it rained. Rain is also eyeing the India-Bangladesh match in Antigua. If the points are shared in hostile weather, there will be different equations.

According to the weather forecast, there may be rain in the Bangladesh-India match at around 3 AM local time (12:30 PM IST, 1 PM Bangladesh time). To some extent, the match may be rain-interrupted. Because, the rainy season is going on in the Caribbean island. However, people will wake with bright sunshine at 6-7 AM local time (3:30 PM IST or 4 PM Bangladesh Time).


The game may be temporarily suspended due to rain. With toss schedule to take place at 10 AM local time (7:30 PM IST, 8 PM Bangladesh time), there is strong prediction of thunderstorm with almost 50 per cent chances of rainfall. This could delay the toss. However, there is no danger of the match being abandoned. And it is difficult to predict the weather in the Caribbean island.
