Bangladesh will play against Afghanistan in their last and third match of the Super Eight. The match will start at 6:30 am Bangladesh time in Kingstown. The match is very important for both teams.

The Afghans are in great rhythm in the current World Cup. Gurbaz-Rashid showed their strength by defeating New Zealand in the group stage and Mighty Australia in the Super Eight. So the Afghans will play as favorites against the Tigers.

The big concern for Bangladesh in this match is the spin magic of the Afghans. Batters have been caught in front of Rashid-Nabi's world class spin attack several times in the past. So it goes without saying that the batsmen will have to take the main responsibility to win the Afghan challenge.

On the other hand, Bangladesh has done well in bowling in this World Cup. It will not be easy for Gurbaz to handle Mustafiz-Tanzim. Apart from this, Bangladesh won the series 2-0 against Afghanistan at home last year. That victory will give some confidence to the team Tigers.

Bangaldesh: Tanzid Hasan, Litton Das(w), Najmul Hossain Shanto(c), Towhid Hridoy, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah, Rishad Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Mustafizur Rahman and Shoriful Islam.
