Asian Games Medalist Jinnat Akter Receives Warm BOA Reception upon Return

Bangladesh's Jinnat Akter was accorded a reception by the Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) following her return home with a bronze medal from the women's 52kg wushu competition at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.

Jinnat arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 2:30 am on Saturday from Aichi-Nagoya, where BOA representatives greeted her with floral bouquets.

Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Mohammad Ullah, National Sports Council Director (Sports) Mohammad Jahed Parvez Chowdhury, BOA executive committee member Russell Kabir Sumon, and officials from the Bangladesh Wushu Federation attended the welcoming event.

Jinnat's bronze medal victory stands as a significant milestone for Bangladesh at the Asian Games and is anticipated to motivate the nation's athletes toward greater accomplishments on the global stage.
