Bangladesh and Qatar have signed 5 deals and 5 (MoUs) on mutual co-operation in various fields including avoidance of bilateral taxation.
The Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed in the presence of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani at the Karabi Hall of the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) here this noon.
The agreements are the development of mutual investment and security between two countries, avoidance of double taxation and tax evasion, co-operation about law related issues, agreement of maritime transport and establishment of joint business council between the business organizations of two countries.
The MoUs are, co-operation and diplomatic training, higher education and scientific research, co-operation in youth and sports, labour power and port management.
