Prime Minister Tarique Rahman landed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 8:45 pm (local time) on Sunday for a two-day official visit.

The Prime Minister and his entourage departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka via a special Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight at 2:45 pm (BST).

Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon confirmed the details of the trip, noting, "This is a two-day visit. The Prime Minister is accompanied by his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman. The Prime Minister's entourage is very small."

Finance Minister Outlines Reform Agenda to Boost Growth, Investment

Before his departure from Dhaka, the Prime Minister was seen off by LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Chief Whip of Parliament Nurul Islam Moni, Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Ghani, Prime Minister's Press Secretary Saleh Shibli, alongside various diplomats and senior government officials.

The Prime Minister is joined on this official visit by a high-level delegation, including Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman, Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Ariful Haque Chowdhury, State Minister for Energy and Power Aninda Islam Amit, Prime Minister's Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir, Overseas Employment Adviser Mahadi Amin, and Defense Adviser AKM Shamsul Islam, among other officials.
