Housing and Public Works Minister SM Rezaul Karim said, the government has a plan to execute free education for female students up to degree level in future. Education is not a grace provided by the government rather it is a right of people. So, to ensure the rights of education for all the government has handed over more than 35 crore books on the first day of new year.
He said these while inaugurating the book distribution activities at Pirozpur Government Girls’ High School premises on Wednesday.
The program presided over by Headmaster of Pirozpur Government Girls’ High School Md. Idris Ali Azizi, where Deputy Commissioner of Pirozpur Abu Ali Md. Sajjad Hossain, Police Super Hayatul Islam Khan, Pirozpur municipal Mayor Md. Habibur Rahman Malek and Secondary Education Officer Sunil Chandra Sen were present as the special guests.
