UNO Wahida’s CT scan report well: Medical board

The post operation CT scan report of injured Ghoraghat Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Wahida Khanam is well. Wahida, now under 72 hours of post operative observation, has talked to her husband and on duty physicians.

In this regard neurotrauma section head of National Institute of Neurosciences Hospital and neurosurgeon Mohammad Zahid Hossain said, so far, her all health parameters are very good. We feared about the CT scan report but it has come hundred percent good.

Medical board head Zahid Hossain also said, she is well by the grace of Allah. She has talked to us. She is fully conscious. There were nine hits on her head. We have repaired those. Her one side is paralyzed at the moment. It will take time to recover the condition.

On Thursday night a six-member physician team performed the two hour long critical operation on Wahida Khanam. After the operation she has been kept 72 hours observation.

On Wednesday midnight the miscreants attacked Wahida Khanam and her father at her official residence in Ghoraghat under Dinajpur district. Later they were admitted to the Rangpur Medical College and Hospital. As the condition of Wahida deteriorated she was airlifted to Dhaka on Thursday. Currently she is undergoing treatment at National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital in the capital.
