BNP is set to hold a meeting with the Chief Adviser of the interim government, Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus, on Monday.
The information was confirmed by BNP Chairperson's media wing member, Shairul Kabir Khan, on Sunday (February 9). According to him, the meeting is scheduled for 6 pm on Monday.
Sources within BNP indicate that the party will raise concerns over the current political situation during the discussion. They will also reaffirm their commitment to cooperating with the interim government. Additionally, the meeting may include talks on the roadmap for the upcoming elections.
While the full list of BNP's delegation members is yet to be disclosed, it is expected that BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury will attend. Both leaders are set to return from a US visit on Sunday afternoon.
Last Friday, BNP's Standing Committee meeting addressed various issues, including vandalism at Dhanmondi 32, the Reform Commission's report, and current political affairs. During the meeting, it was decided to engage in discussions with the Chief Adviser.
