In response to the vandalism of Dhanmondi 32 and the rising tensions across the country, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has blamed the fugitive fascist Sheikh Hasina’s provocation for the overall situation.

Shortly before this statement, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman had posted another status, urging the people of Bangladesh to remain patient and not fall for any provocations.
In his post, the Jamaat Ameer wrote, "The patriotic and responsible citizens of Bangladesh are urged to remain patient and not be provoked. Show your love for your beloved country through restraint and responsible actions."
