The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) officially categorized all eight of the most recent fatalities within the classification of suspected measles mortalities.
Consequently, the aggregate tally of presumed measles deaths has climbed to 930, while laboratory-confirmed fatalities remain unchanged at 100.
During the identical 24-hour duration, health authorities logged 1,177 fresh instances of suspected measles infections, pushing the nationwide cumulative volume of presumptive cases to 172,720.
Concurrently, 55 new confirmed cases of the virus were documented, elevating the total number of laboratory-verified infections to 20,124.
According to statistical figures released by the DGHS, a total of 152,117 patients exhibiting suspected measles symptoms have been admitted to healthcare facilities nationwide since March 15 of this year, out of whom 146,400 individuals have successfully recuperated.
