Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, "We want to see the Bangladesh as a knowledge-based and smart. In this Smart Bangladesh, the governance, economy, population and social system will also be smart.
We want to shape our manpower as smart citizen."
PM Hasina made these statement while addressing as the chief guest at the 35th convocation ceremony of the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) on Tuesday, May 30.
The Islamic University of Technology (IUT) convocation ceremony was held at the Gazipur University campus today.
Prime Minister said, "Using digital devices, we want to make the people of Bangladesh as skilled. So that, our countrymen can contribute to the fourth industrial revolution.
The main purpose of Smart Bangladesh is to use digital devices in all aspects: education, health, agriculture, industry, business and commerce to keep pace with the modern world. Importance is being given to the use of technology in all spheres of life."
