Pieces of flesh recovered from the septic tank of Sanjeeva's residence in Kolkata's New Town have been confirmed to be human.
On Monday (June 10), the Forensic Department of Kolkata reported this information. However, after the DNA test, it will be known whether the meat belongs to MP's or not.
Earlier, West Bengal CID recovered some meat from the septic tank on May 28. However, it could not be confirmed whether it was the meat of the fragmented body of MP Anar or an animal.
Meanwhile, CID conducted a search with Siam Hossain, who was arrested in the case of Anar's murder, in the Bagjola canal of Krishnamati on Sunday (June 9) morning. After the search, several bones were recovered from the side of a bush. However, it is still not clear whether they are MP Anar's bone or not. Then sent to forensics to confirm.
