I didn't call students 'Razakar', speech was distorted: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina confess that she didn't titled the students 'Razakar' who demanded reform of quota in government jobs.

She said, 'I didn't call the students Razakar, my statement has been distorted. They called themselves Razakars.'

Prime Minister said this while visiting Bangladesh Television (BTV) building that damaged in an attack by miscreants on Friday (July 26) morning during the quota reform movement. Later, the Prime Minister visited BTV office to see overall picture of damage.

After the inspection, the head of government urges the public's help to find the perpetrators and said those involved in this destruction, should be found and punished. She want public's help to find those enemies.

Sheikh Hasina also said that BNP-Jamaat committed arson like in the past. They used gunpowder. By spreading the movement outside the country, they are threatening to spoil the country's image.
