The Home Affairs Advisor has directed the military, police, and industrial police to launch a joint operation in Savar, Ashulia, and Gazipur areas tonight to provide security to the garment industry.

The decision was taken in the meeting of BGMEA and BKMEA with the Home Affairs Advisor on Monday (September 02) afternoon.
BGMEA President Khandaker Rafiqul Islam informed the journalists after the Secretariat meeting.

The Home Advisor said the police, industrial police, and the army should take swift action while directing the foreigners involved in the disturbance to be brought under trial by tonight.
He also requested the owners to keep all the factories open from tomorrow.
