Political Parties Failed to Reform Country in 53 Years: Rizwana
Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Adviser on Environment, Forests, and Climate Change stated that if reforms cannot be possible without political parties, then why haven't they been implemented in the past 53 years? Political parties must answer that question.
On Friday (13 December) morning, she made these remarks while attending a program in the capital aimed at raising awareness about controlling noise pollution and providing retraining for drivers.
Adviser Syeda Rizwana assured everyone that the Noise Pollution Control Act would soon be published in gazette form.
Regarding the strained relations between India and Bangladesh, Rizwana Hasan said that the political issues that brought clouds over the relationship between the two countries had to be cleared in the interest of both nations. However, while maintaining a friendly relationship with India, one cannot deny the popular uprisings that have occurred in Bangladesh.
