The government has appointed 267 candidates from the 43rd BCS as Assistant Commissioners in the Administrative Cadre.
On Friday (January 10, 2025), the Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification regarding the appointments, which was published on the Ministry's website.
According to the notification, based on the results of the 43rd BCS exam and the recommendations from the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) on January 25, 2025, a notification was issued by the Ministry on December 30, 2024, appointing 267 individuals to the BCS (Administration) Cadre as Assistant Commissioners.
The appointed individuals have been assigned to various divisional commissioners as per their respective departments for posting as probationary Assistant Commissioners.
Additionally, the notification directs the appointed officials to join their respective divisional commissioners by January 15, 2025 and grants them the powers of Executive Magistrates.
