To hold the eleventh national parliament election the Election Commission (EC) is ultimately prepared. President Md. Abdul Hamid has expressed his satisfaction over the preparation for the election.
The President expressed his satisfaction while holding meeting with the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and other four Commissioners at Bangabhaban on Thursday. After the meeting CEC KM Nurul Huda said these to the newsmen.
The CEC said, discussions were held with the President over voter list for the upcoming election, number of vote centers and security during the voting period. But discussion was not held on election time or schedule. Discussion over election schedule will be held in commission meeting on November 4. Decision will be taken there over the date of declaring election schedule.
In response to another question of journalists he said, decision will be taken in next commission meeting over the High Court direction about the party constitution of BNP. Election will be held according to the constitution.
About the ongoing dialogue KM Nurul Huda said, it will not affect the process of declaring the election schedule. We will declare the election schedule in our way.
Whether all political parties would participate in the election or not- answering to this question he said, I have nothing to say to the political parties. I believe all will take part in the election.
