Speaking at a workshop held at the Jessore PTI auditorium on Saturday (February 22), he emphasized the need for police to conduct investigations with caution to prevent wrongful punishment of innocent individuals.

Addressing the judiciary, he remarked, "The authority to grant bail is not absolute. Judicial proceedings must now follow the new legal framework, rather than the pre-August 5 system."

The workshop was presided over by Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Nasimul Gani. Chief Prosecutor Mohammad Tajul Islam, attending as a special guest, urged police, administrative, and judicial officials to remain accountable to the law and the constitution rather than any individual.

"This nation is undergoing a transformation," Tajul Islam stated. "We must firmly suppress any counter-revolutionary efforts. If we fail to act decisively, we will not be able to sustain the state. We are in a war-like situation, and those responsible for disorder must be brought to justice."

Other speakers included Chief Adviser's Special Assistant Monir Haider, CID Additional IGP Matiur Rahman Sheikh, and Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Ataur Rahman Khan.
