PM Mourns Death of UAE's Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has expressed profound grief regarding the passing of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the youngest brother of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.

In a condolence note published on his official Facebook page on Tuesday, the Prime Minister extended heartfelt sympathies on behalf of the government and citizens of Bangladesh.

Expressing his prayers, he wrote, "May Almighty Allah bless the departed soul with His infinite mercy and grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and give the bereaved family strength and patience."

Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who held the post of Deputy Chairman of Dubai Police and Public Security, passed away at the age of 76, according to an announcement released by the Dubai Media Office on Monday.
