Expelled Jubo League leader Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan and GK Shamim, who used to identify himself as Jubo League leader have begun to deliver surprising information based on the casino business and to whom they provided share of extortion and tender manipulation money. Police have said that they will take immediate action against the wrongdoers.
After being arrested by RAB the name of expelled Jubo League organizing secretary Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan is being discussed much as ‘Casino Khaled’. His political career began after joining Freedom Party. Khaled became owner of hundreds of crore taka while remaining in the responsible post of ruling party’s associate organization. But in the way of changing wind of power he joined Jubo League. But now the details of misdeed are being come out after arresting Khaled.
RAB legal and media wing Director Sarwar Bin Quashem said, efforts are going on to detain the associated people involved in running torture cell at Kamalapur in the capital.
After arresting GK Shamim known as ‘Tender Shamim’ it was known that he alone is doing contractor business in 14 important projects worth around three thousand crore taka. In the wave of power change Shamim joined Awami League from Jubo Dal and used to identify himself as cooperatives affairs secretary of Jubo League.
The arrested have begun to deliver important information during the remand, said police.
