Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam said, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given special order for taking all out measures to prevent Coronavirus. She also ordered to be conscious so that this virus cannot enter into Bangladesh.
He informed the newsmen about Prime Minister’s special order after holding the cabinet meeting at the secretariat on Monday.
The Cabinet Secretary said, special discussion was held after the cabinet meeting. Firstly, it was said that Coronavirus will not be allowed to enter in our country at anyhow. Secondly, China already closed all possible routes to get out from Wuhan. Then if somebody comes from there they will be kept under special observation.
Anwarul Islam also said, still there are 171 students in Wuhan. They will be brought back. But aircraft cannot be sent to bring them back. Because, some countries like Singapore are not willing to issue visas for the aircraft’s pilots and crews which was sent to China. For this reason civil aviation ministry was asked to collect chartered aircraft.
