India to handover 10 rail engines as Eid gift

Indian Railway is going to handover 10 broad gauge rail engines (locomotives) to Bangladesh Railway on Monday as gifts for the Eid.

It is known that the engines are arriving on next Monday in Bangladesh. Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan sees the engines as gift for the occasion of Eid.

Confirming the matter he said, Indian Railway will present 10 broad gauge engines as gift for the Eid on July 27. The process has been finalized. On that day our Foreign Minister and me, on the other hand, Indian Foreign Minister and Railway Minister will present in the engine handover program through video conference at 2:30 pm. A program will be arranged at Darshana border on behalf of Indian Railway in this regard.
