Coronavirus: In which danger stage Bangladesh is?

Has Bangladesh passed the highest contraction limit of coronavirus? In which stage Bangladesh is standing? Many raise the question. But the experts say that Bangladesh is still at the danger limit. Though the statistics are not varying but if the stage continues for long period then it may bring danger in the coming days. So the physicians are suggesting being conscious as well as government’s responsible role.

The beginning was from China but its devastation traced in Europe. Specially the number of infected people and deaths in Italy and France drove the inhabitants of the world into disarray. At that time Bangladesh was at the lower stage of corona statistics table. But the situation has changed. China is at number 34 at the moment. And Bangladesh has surpassed France and Italy by taking place on top fifteen.

At the current moment after observing peoples’ movement it cannot be imagined that the danger time is prevailing. The reality is that corona contraction and statistics have not stopped. According to the information of last two weeks- total 32 thousand 2 hundred 69 people were infected which is one thousand one hundred 34 people more than the contraction number of the previous two weeks. Number of deaths also has increased. It was 112 more than the number deaths of that period. The number of infected people has not gone below 2000 mark in the month of August except 23^rd.

IEDCR’s former chief scientific officer Dr. Mostak Hossain told Rtv online that if we become unconscious after the rainy season and flood then the corona contraction may increase. There is still a chance for high scale contraction in the country.

Former BSMMU VC Dr. Nazrul Islam said, our corona samples are not much, like 13 thousand, 14 thousand or 24 thousand. Our first stage contraction has not finished and the second stage may take time.

Experts say that if the situation continues for next several months then it would not be good. They are saying that financial reality tends people to come out from their homes. But we have to think about our own life, about future of our country. If we do not do that then we may be isolated from the world.
