On Friday, January 06 in the evening, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the nation on the occasion of the fourth year of the current tenure of the Awami League government.

Prime Minister's Assistant Press Secretary MM Imrul Kayes told, "At 7:30 pm on Friday, Prime Minister will deliver a speech on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the current term of the government."
Her speech will be telecast on Bangladesh Television, Bangladesh Betar, private television channels and radio stations.

On January 7, 2019, Sheikh Hasina was sworn in as Prime Minister for the fourth time after the Bangladesh Awami League won the general election by a landslide on December 30, 2018.
