Foreign Ministry sources indicated that the visit is expected to open new avenues for exporting skilled labor from Bangladesh to the Japanese job market.

Discussions will also be held regarding the resumption of direct flight connectivity with Japan, which was suspended due to aircraft shortages.

Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam stated on Tuesday that Dr. Muhammad Yunus's visit will focus on sending 100,000 skilled Bangladeshi workers to Japan and increasing investment in Bangladesh, including projects like Matarbari-Moheshkhali.

The Chief Adviser is also scheduled to hold a meeting with the Japanese organization JICA.
