Wouter Van Wersch, Executive Vice President of Airbus, paid a courtesy call on Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus. The meeting took place today, Tuesday (June 10), at the Chief Adviser's hotel in London.
The Chief Adviser's press wing stated that both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, including aviation technology and potential investments.
Bangladesh's High Commissioner to the UK, Abida Islam, and members of the Chief Adviser's press wing were present during the meeting.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Chief Adviser arrived in London at 7:05 AM local time on an Emirates Airline flight.
Accompanying him on his four-day official visit are Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur and Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Dr. Abdul Momen.
During this visit, the Chief Adviser is scheduled to meet with British King Charles III at Buckingham Palace. He will also receive the 'King Charles Harmony Award' from King Charles at that time.
