Chance of rain across country, day temperature may drop. In the next 24 hours, rain may continue across the country and day temperature may drop slightly.
On Thursday night, there was rain in several parts of the country including the capital.
Meteorologist Abdul Hamid confirm the information at 12:30 pm on Friday.
He said, "Today there may be temporary rain with gusty wind or thunder in some places of Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and one or two places in Rangpur division."
"Also, the day temperature across the country may decrease by 1-2 degrees and the night temperature may remain almost unchanged," he added.
According to the regular bulletin of the Meteorological Department, the extension of the western low pressure is located in India's West Bengal and Bangladesh. Seasonal normal low pressure is located over South Bay of Bengal.
It also informed that the maximum rainfall of 64 mm in the last 24 hours was in Tangail.
