Two buses collided at Taraganj Upazila of Rangpur district. Two died on the spot and one died at the Upazila Health Complex.
In this incident, at least 10 to 15 people were injured. At around 7:30 am, the accident occurred in the Chikli Doalipara intersection of Rangpur-Dinajpur highway of the upazila on Tuesday, January 10.
The deceased identity is not yet known. The injured have been admitted to the Upazila Health Complex and Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
Taraganj Highway Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sheikh Mohammad Mahbub Morshed confirmed the matter.
According to police and eyewitnesses, "Symon Paribahan collided head-on with Tripti Paribahan bound for Rangpur from Saidpur of Nilphamari.
Two died on the spot. When the injured were taken to the Upazila Health Complex, another person died there. Many injured have been sent to Rangpur Medical College Hospital."
