39 arrested in DMP's anti drug drive

On charges of selling and consuming drugs, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 39 people from different areas in the capital.

During the operation, 1,052 pieces Yaba, 11 grams 337 Puria Heroin, 2 kg 100 grams 80 Puria Cannabis, 148 bottles Phensedyl and 2 bottles Liquor were seized.

As part of regular anti-narcotics operation, Dhaka Metropolitan Police conducted operation in various areas of the capital.

Under the Narcotics Control Act, 25 cases have been registered against the arrested in the concerned police stations.
