Police headquarters issued high alert in all places including international airports, land and river ports of the country to detain the culprits involved in Rifat Sharif murder incident in Barguna.
AIG (media) of police headquarters Md. Sohel Rana informed in a short message, Bangladesh police have taken the incident of killing Rifat in a broad daylight with utmost importance. So far three people involved in the incident were arrested.
Directions were given to all airports, land ports and river ports so that the suspects cannot flee the country.
To detain the accused PBI, CID, RAB, DMP’s Counter Terrorism Unit are working along with district police.
We hope that all the accused can be brought under law within short span of time. People are requested to inform police if they have any information about the culprits.
Earlier, on Thursday the High Court ordered the government to issue red alert on borders so that the killers cannot leave the country.
On Wednesday some terrorists hacked a youth named Shahnewaj Rifat Sharif to death in front of his wife and in presence of pedestrians on Barguna Government College road in a broad daylight.
