The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has announced a new price for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for June. The cost of a standard 12-kg LPG cylinder has been reduced by 28 Taka, bringing the new price down from 1,431 Taka to 1,403 Taka. The revised rate will take effect from this evening.

In addition to LPG, the price of autogas has also been adjusted. It has been lowered by 1 Taka 27 poisha per litre, with the new rate set at 64 Taka 30 poisha.
For comparison, in May, the price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder was cut by 19 Taka to 1,431 Taka. At that time, autogas was priced at 65 Taka 57 poisha per litre.
