The admission process for the first-year undergraduate (honours) program for the 2024-25 academic session at 19 cluster universities begins today, Sunday (June 22).
This process will continue until June 25. The primary admission fee has been set at five thousand Bangladeshi Taka.
This information was announced in a notification from the Cluster Admission Committee on Saturday (June 21) afternoon.
It stated that if the online fee is not paid and original documents are not submitted within the stipulated time, the primary admission will be considered canceled.
Furthermore, the applicant will be deprived of admission to any cluster university or quota-based opportunities in the future.
According to the notification, the primary admission fee of BDT 5,000 (payable online) can be submitted from 12:00 PM on June 22 to 11:59 PM on June 25.
The original mark sheets of SSC and HSC/equivalent examinations must be submitted to any one of the cluster universities from 10:00 AM on June 23 to 3:00 PM on June 26.
If an applicant fails to confirm their primary admission by submitting the original documents within the specified time, even after paying the primary admission fee of BDT 5,000 online, their admission will be canceled.
They will not be considered for admission to any cluster university later, even under a quota.
Meanwhile, if an applicant wishes to cancel their primary admission, they must personally appear at the relevant university (where their original documents are submitted) to complete the process.
During the primary admission process, if a student completes 'Stop All Migration' while admitted to a specific department in a university, they will not have the opportunity to migrate to any department of any other university, except for that specific department.
On the other hand, if a student completes 'Stop University Migration,' they will only be considered for admission to departments within their preferred list at the currently admitted university and will not be considered for admission to any other university.
