First Death Anniversary of Pori Moni's Grandfather Today

A village girl named Shamsunnahar Smriti, her journey to become Pori Moni is like a movie plot. She lost her mother at a very young age; her father was also shot dead by miscreants. Later, her grandfather Shamsul Haque Gazi took over as her guardian. On November 23 last year, her grandfather passed away while undergoing treatment in the ICU of a hospital in the capital.
It has been a year since Pori Moni's grandfather passed away on Saturday (November 23). Pori Moni is in Barishal on the first death anniversary of her grandfather. She has organized a prayer-mahfil.
Meanwhile, Pori Moni has shared two lines from a popular song by singer Haider Hossain on social media. On Saturday (November 23), Pori Moni wrote on her Facebook page, "When you respond to the call of destiny, only silence remains. The one who lost can understand the pain of separation!"
In the comments section of the post, one of Pori's followers wrote, "The words are true..."
Another person agreed with the heroine and wrote, "The one who lost can understand."
On the other hand, actress Pori Moni's first husband Ismail Hossain Jamaddar was killed in a road accident in Shibchar, Madaripur on the Dhaka-Bhanga highway. The accident occurred in the Pachchor area of the upazila early on Friday (November 22). Later in the night, after the funeral, he was buried in the family graveyard of his home village of Chhoto Shaula.

Goodbye Tarzan: Ron Ely Dies at 86
Ron Ely, the American actor best known for his role as 'Tarzan' in the 1960s TV series, passed away on September 29 at the age of 86. The series, which aired on NBC from 1966 to 1968, saw Ely performing his own stunts, during which he suffered multiple injuries and was reportedly attacked by animals on set.
Following his retirement from acting in 2001, Ely pursued a writing career, publishing two mystery novels. He briefly returned to acting in 2014, playing an Amish elder in the TV movie Expecting Amish. During the 1980s, Ely also appeared in popular shows such as The Love Boat and Wonder Woman alongside Lynda Carter.
Born in Texas in 1938, Ely married his high school sweetheart in 1959, but the couple divorced two years later. He later met his second wife, Valerie Lundeen, while hosting the Miss America pageant in the early 1980s. Together, they had three children.
Tragedy struck in 2019 when Lundeen was fatally stabbed by their son, Cameron, at their California home. Police shot Cameron dead, claiming self-defense after assessing him as a threat. Ely later filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the officers, though the court ruled in favor of the police.
Ely passed away at his home in Los Alamos, Santa Barbara, on September 29. Announcing his death on Instagram, his daughter described him as a hero, adding: "He was an actor, writer, coach, mentor, family man, and leader... To me, he hung the moon."

Apart from Atif, another Pakistani young artist Abdul Hannan, Bangladeshi Tahsan Khan, and the band Kaktal are scheduled to perform in the 'Magical Night 2.0' concert.
However, if everything goes well, the concert will start on November 29 at five o'clock in the afternoon at the Bangladesh Army Stadium. The gates will be open for visitors from 1 pm.

40 families have been selected through auditions from around 2,000 applicant families across the country. Some of the questions asked to 100 people on specific topics will be presented in front of the family members.
Contestants have to guess the answer given by the maximum number of people. Contestants will get points based on correct guesses. The family with the highest points will be declared the winner.
The first team to score 300 points gets a chance to play the bonus round 'Fast Money'.

He added, "I hope we can deliver a successful event where all viewers can participate and experience family entertainment in a new way."

Incidentally, Aniqa completed her studies in Political Science at Loyola Marymind University. After completing her degree, she also worked in the Los Angeles Mayor's office. Currently, she is working intensively with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, especially 'Zero Hunger'.
