PM Hasina leaves for India to attend Modi's swearing-in ceremony
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive term.
A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the premier and her entourage members will take off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10am on Saturday (June 8).
The flight will land at Palam Air Force Station, VVIP Airport in New Delhi at 12 noon (New Delhi time).
At the airport, the prime minister will be received by a high-level Indian delegation and Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Mustafizur Rahman.
During her stay in New Delhi, Sheikh Hasina will hold a one-on-one meeting with her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi after attending the swearing-in ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 7.20 pm on Sunday.
After completing some official work before leaving New Delhi, Sheikh Hasina will reach Air Force Station, Palam, at 5 pm (New Delhi time) on Monday and is scheduled to reach Dhaka at 8 pm (Bangladesh time).
